Trifling Intuitions

I dreamt last night about my parents - gone elsewhere now for 9 and 7 years respectively.

We were staying in a large house with many bedrooms... my mom & I noticed a huge parade of ants moving through the house.

I said "well, maybe they're just on their way someplace else, & if we leave them be, they'll just move on through." She agreed.

I got up in "real life" this morning and in my kitchen was a hoard of tiny ants, very excited over some miniscule cheese bits left out on a pizza pan.

There is one rare-bird friend* who seems to find my silly intuitions interesting and maybe even significant sometimes. I'm grateful for that.
*(Human. Not really a bird. The birds I've known seem to take intuition for granted.)

I'm still waiting for the dream with the lotto numbers. (But then I'd need to play it wouldn't I.)

Marie & Jerry, photo by yourn truly.

She actually enjoyed a lot of her dementia years; she told me she was the happiest she'd ever been. And we could tell it was true.

Oh Marie...

What a lovely pic of Jerry and Marie!

Thanks Su! They sure had a little honeymoon period for a while there when she was losing her marbles.
